The Scope of works included partial demolition of the existing levels 1&2 Building 15, construction of new walls; ceilings; joinery units; toilets; mechanical; electrical; fire and hydraulic services. Reinstate parquetry flooring; polishing existing concrete floor; including all other work as shown on the drawings or included in the specification.
This demolition scope of work involved the removal existing walls, windows, doors, removal of the existing concrete floor and finishes and fixtures to Male & Female toilets, internal joinery items and the like.
The scope of work for the main construction phase included but not limited to: new floor finishes and coverings, windows and roller blinds, doors, Partition and ceilings with a special aluminium ceiling, placement of new concrete floor to male & female toilets on level1, reinstate wall, floor tiles, fixtures and fittings to Male and Female toilets, Kitchenette and other joinery units. Services included electrical, security, fire, mechanical and hydraulic. The supply and installation of new workstations and furniture. Painting to existing and new surfaces, doors and windows. There were numerous areas of this project that required extensive modification in accordance with the design scope, these included infill brickwork to doorways and render to existing masonry wall on LVL1.
