Create new office space for Lake Macquarie City Council’s Family Day Care administration

The project consisted of the transformation of a Masonic Hall into a commercial office space.

The demolition scope of work included removal of the existing internal walls, ceiling and doors, stage flooring curtain rails and steps, Sanitary Fixtures and associated plumbing and drainage, floor finishes to kitchen/entry area, remove floor and wall tiles from Male and Female amenities and strip tiles from existing entry.

The main construction phase of the works included the construction of the new partitions, walls, doors and glazing panels. New bracing structure to roof and walls as per Engineers instruction and details. Make good concrete floors to male and female amenities, strong room for new finishes and existing exposed timber floor. Provision of new sanitary fittings and connect services as per specifications, new ceiling insulation to existing ceiling, floor finishes, joinery items, office workstations, new light fittings and GPO’s and paint walls, ceiling, doors/frames and bracing.

There were also minor works to the external area of the building including the make good of all disturbed landscaped and turfed areas, provision of new secure door to existing subfloor space and new key card alarm system to new office space.
